# Thesis Figures Latex

My situation is similar in that I have a main thesis folder, and then chapter sub folders with additional figure subfolders. The structure is. I am not very good at latex but I am quite interested to know if it is possible to put the figures next to each other? Secondly, can I use float.

## LATEX 3X3 FIGURES

If you put everything inside a single sidewaysfigure environment, i.e. \begin{ sidewaysfigure} \subfigure[Title. Rather make sub figure width smaller and adopt figure width to width of di impregnazione} \label{fig:images} \end{figure} \end{document}.

### LATEX FIVE SUBFIGURES

The tabular solution is useful if you want the figures horizontally aligned. If you don't need to align the figures (ie., you just want them distributed. \begin{figure}[H] \begin{subfigure}{\textwidth} \centering \label{fig:5} \end{ subfigure} \begin{subfigure}{\textwidth} \centering.

## LATEX FIGURES SIDE BY SIDE TWO COLUMN

I used subfigure package: \begin{figure*}[htp] \centering \subfigure[random caption 1]{\includegraphics[scale=]{image1}}\quad. Since your figures shall be side by side, they are not expected to float I got this working in a document with two text columns, just wanted to.

## ENVIRONMENT SUBFIGURE UNDEFINED

I would suggest a work-around, if all else fails, as it is difficult to test this without going through the submission process yourself. In that regard. The subfig package requires the usage of \subfloat, rather than \subfigure: \ begin{figure} \centering.

### LATEX FIGURE ABCD

You could also use the subcaption package and its subfigure environment. The following example sets up the subfigures so that they occupy. An online LaTeX editor that's easy to use. No installation, real-time collaboration, version control, hundreds of LaTeX templates, and more.
