The next step for jaguar after the C-type was the D-type which won Le Mans in 1955, 56 and 57. The most distinctive of the D-types were those raced by the scottish ecurrie-ecosse team. This is the second placed car from 1957 of Ninian Sanderson and Jock Lawrence.
