The next step for jaguar after the C-type was the D-type which won Le Mans in 1955, 56 and 57. The most distinctive of the D-types were those raced by the scottish ecurrie-ecosse team. This is the second placed car from 1957 of Ninian Sanderson and Jock Lawrence. The original drawing for this print was exhibited at the Museum of Transport in Coventry. and the Silverstone Classic 2009
